The staff are friendly and skillful. They know how to teach kids to ride. I am so happy that my son first time can ride with paddles! Thank you so much!
We had so much fun that day. The boys (and teachers) are wanting to go back : )
I loved how you, George and Ritchie, catered for the boys’ needs but also linked it with what we have been investigating in the classroom, in terms of our On the Move Science unit.

What a great initiative for kids to receive guidance and to try out different bikes! My daughter has been extremely motivated to get out riding again… and to upgrade to a pedal bike!

I attended the Bike Maintenance course yesterday at Sydney Cycling Centre. Just wanted to say how fantastic it was and that I feel so confident in managing my bike. The pace was great and the content was pitched right to what was needed. The hands-on practical stuff was brilliant and very essential. Thanks so much for running such a great course and look forward to my next smooth ride!!

As someone who recently got back on a bike and was a bit nervous to ride in the city, after finishing this course I feel 100% more confident and safe to ride on city streets. The BikeWise instructors were fantastic – knowledgeable, friendly and provided actionable feedback throughout the day to help us ride more safely. I have been telling lots of friends about it and encouraging everyone to attend. I now know how to ride safely and respectfully on the road and just want to encourage you to please keep funding this initiative. I can’t speak highly enough about it! This should really be a prerequisite course for new food delivery riders also, it would not do any harm

I was most impressed with the course structure. The progressive material really aided our learning and confidence. The Instructors were really engaging and really cared about us! I have been to many training courses of a different nature over the years (mostly work) and have to say they can often disappoint. I thought the plan and delivery was outstanding. It was so clearly structured – e.g. setting the scene, asking questions, demonstrating the drill, our turn to practice etc.. It sounds simple but even the fact that the Instructors were really clear on their instructions & expectations and gave one instruction at a time! It made such a difference. It was very professional indeed.

I attended this course on Saturday and thought it was fantastic and has already made a huge difference to the way I cycle. I’m sure it will reduce my chances of being injured, while allowing me to relax more and have fun when riding. The instructors were great, clearly had lots of experience with what they were talking about and taught everyone well while keeping the course fun and interesting. Having ridden bikes for years I was surprised that I had room to improve on the control skills and it was great to see where I needed to improve – am working on these areas now! Knowing the main causes of injury and then actually going through examples of how to avoid them in real life was excellent. Was great to get a better understanding of the road rules as they apply to cyclists, I’d read up a bit but wasn’t aware that Hook turns were allowed for example.

Thanks to the course I feel equipped to head out far from home on my bike. The instructor Carlos was well informed and is a great teacher. The course covered the basics well, both theory and hands-on and is just about the right duration. The class was so interesting that the 3 hours flew by quickly as the class was so engaging. Carlos had answers for every question thrown their way. A highly recommended course which would equip all cyclists to do basic maintenance and give confidence to venture out far from home. Am going to spread the word and would like you guys to keep up the great work. Can’t wait to try your ride in the city course to learn the finer points of riding in the city.

Great course. It was well laid out and covered all the basics. There were some really good hints and tips, and the tutor was both very knowledgeable and helpful. I enjoyed the course and would recommend it to my friends.

I just wanted to say that the bike care and maintenance course I did last Wednesday was excellent! Really informative and encouraging, my commute is quite long but I am definitely thinking of trying to cycle it once or twice a week. John who ran the course was great, I’ve been telling a bunch of my friends to do the course, it would be great if it was put on more often as spaces seem to go like hot cakes!

I completed the Free “Intermediate Bike Care & Maintenance Course” last night. It was fantastic! I now feel confident that I will be able to adjust my own bike brakes & gears. I’ll still use my bike shop/mechanic for bigger issues. But now instead of rushing off for help, I’ll be able to do a better job of diagnosing problems & making small tweaks. I am very grateful to you for sharing this information with me. By the way, getting a printed hand-out at the start of the course greatly assisted me. I was able to add my own notes as you spoke.

Today my boyfriend and I took part in the City of Sydney free bike maintenance course run by bikewise. The course was 3 hours. Both my boyfriend and I found it very informative, interactive and engaging. The tutor had a great wealth of knowledge and made the time fly by. This is a brilliant course for new and seasoned riders and a benefit to anybody riding in and around the city. Thanks so much.

All Hallows would love to do that excursion again…the kids LOVED LOVED LOVED it. When I was asking for suggestions for this upcoming holidays, they all wanted to do it again. Job well done. Glad you have developed a great and valuable program. I hope you are well, look forward to hearing from you.
Jessica Newman, All Hallows OOSH
Colleagues I can personally recommend this program.

The staff were patient and knowledgeable. The students improved with the theory and practical aspects of bike riding. It was a wonderful day enjoyed by all.

On behalf of the staff at AECOM Sydney I would like to thank you both for your efforts on Wednesday. I have continued to receive positive feedback about the event and Bikewise. One respondent expressed her gratitude that Oliver changed the angle of her saddle. Apparently her ride has become much more comfortable! As you refine the scope of your services / offerings going forward, if there are any other initiatives that you would like to trial in the future give us a call. We would be happy to consider being Bikewise guinea pigs, as we are always interested in fresh ideas that encourage cycling. We are really happy with the overall event and hope to work with you again in the future.

Thank you so much for your time in facilitating and participating in the Safe Cycling Sessions for American Express as part of Safe Work Week, for the material and the very popular slap bands. I have collated the results from the survey we conducted, and provide the results for your information, 89% found the session either Excellent or Very Helpful. I look forward to working with you again in the future!
Emma Campbell, HR Corporate Safety Specialist, American Express
Many thanks for your involvement today and contribution to the success of our event to mark the World Day for Safety and Health at Work. We’re really happy with the response from staff in the level of attendance and the interest generated through the many questions in both sessions.
